Wedding: Amy & Kyle!

Wow, its been way too long since I posted something on this blog. But I have promise from now on I will be posting more and more pics so feel free to keep giving any feedback you may have. :) The most recent wedding Sean and I shot had to be one of my favorites. The location had a really cool vibe (Surfer Beach Hotel in Pacific Beach), and I really enjoyed the time I spent with everybody at the wedding. I was also really pleased with how all the pics turned out. I can't get over how awesome that Canon 50mm 1.4 lens (All these pics were shot with it). If I had a 1000 dollar budget and I could only have one lens that would definitely be it. And its only like $350 dollars! Crazy! But anyway I had a super fun time shooting this wedding. Enjoy the photographs! Love, Scott

Photo Shoot For 31 Bits!

First off, let me start buy explaining the company I did this photo shoot for. The company is called 31 bits (www.31bits.com) and is based out of Costa Mesa, CA. What they do is sell jewelry made by Ugandan women in order to help get them out of poverty as well as provide schooling, proper nutrition, and healthcare for their entire family (You can read a much more in depth description on their website). Having heard that, I was super stoked be involved in this program as well as do a more fashiony (not sure if that's a word) looking photo shoot. The shoot it self was super fun and relaxed (I know I probably say that a lot, but trust me it was). The models were both really fun and chill, and made my shooting really easy. Jessie, one of the girls who runs the company, was also amazingly nice and made the shoot very fun and easy for both my brother and I. I guess I don't really need to say anything about the actual pictures, I'll leave that to the people looking at them (you.) Latas!
